Its been about 3 months since I last posted on my blog, so I thought I should update you on whats been going on in my life. At the end of September, I got a new job with Benefit Cosmetics as an Arch Expert. I absolutely love it, and its such a fun job! I worked both my old job with Estee Lauder and my new job 7 days a week through October. The money was great however, I didn't have any time for myself. In November I took two weeks off to travel to Colombia and Peru. It was such a great experience, and I enjoyed every second of it. When I came back home I quit my job with Estee Lauder because it wasn't needed as I am full time with Benefit.

        Also, Vince and I are moving into a house!! The house needs a lot of work so Vince and I have been spending every day working with my grandfather to remodel it. The most exciting thing about the house is that I will be getting a Beauty Room! I've always dreamed of having a giant walk-in closet with all my clothes and makeup. We are planning to move in the middle of January 2018, but there is still a ton of work to be done. I can't wait to show it to you!

MAC x Nicki Minaj

        MAC Cosmetics just announced their upcoming collab with Nicki Minaj. I've never been more excited for a collection to launch! When I think of Nicki Minaj, I think of very vibrant and bright colors. She has always been so over the top with her style, and especially her makeup. I was surprised to learn that the lipsticks from her collection are all nudes, and they're actually quite amazing. There is a nude for every skin shade, even some pink toned nudes that I am definitely interested in purchasing. This collection will contain:

        20 nude lipsticks:

                4 past collections shades
                5 permanent shades

HOW TO GET OVER A COLD & CONQUER THE WORLD!

      Current Situation: Sitting in a hotel room on vacation sick with the WORST cold ever!

        Ok, that might sound a bit dramatic, but lets face it, we all deserve to be a bit dramatic when were not feeling well. So here's my tips for you on how to feel better instantly and still go on with your life when you feel like shit.

        1. Take a warm shower. It really opens up your sinuses and allows you to feel fresh even when you feel like a giant walking germ.

        2. Vitamins & medicine. I know some people don't like to put medicine in their body when they're sick, and I am one of those people. But the truth is, if you feel absolutely horrible then you need medicine to make you feel better. I also like to take Airborne or vitamin C to pump up my immune system when sick. It is even better to take it at the first sign of your cold to help shorten your cold.

        3. Put on makeup & brush your hair. I usually have a messy bun and no makeup on when sick, but getting all dolled up really improves my mood and gives me a little more pep in my step.

        4. Chicken noodle soup & tea/ coffee. Studies show that chicken noodle soup actually helps. Whether it be a Placebo effect or the yumminess somehow scares the cold away, I don't know. Coffee always wakes me up and gives me lots of energy to help me become super productive.

Don't forget to drink lots of water and get lots of rest so your body can recuperate. I hope these tips help. This is definitely helping me make the best out of a crummy situation.

WISHLIST WEDNESDAY | LOUIS VUITTON

         I'm clearly obsessed with designers I can't afford. I just have a strong appreciation for fine designer goods and quality items that stay in fashion through the years. One of my favorite designer brands is Louis Vuitton. Only within the last year and a half was I able to purchase my first Luxury, high-end designer bag. I purchased the Speedy Bandouliere 30 which I totally love and one of my first Youtube videos was a "Whats in my Purse," video with it. Since then my love for Louis Vuitton has blossomed. Here is a current wishlist on items I would love to purchase from Louis Vuitton, however most of the items will probably just stay wishes.

     
        The first item on the list is the Fleur De Monogram Bag Charm Chain. I think this is such a beautiful accessory that really dresses up your handbag.  ($530 on US website)

       
        The Monogram Vernis Leather Cosmetic Pouch in the color Amethyste is such a fun bag for your makeup. I love the purple color and I think this would be a great accessory for anyone who likes to touch up their makeup throughout the day. ($530 on US website)

     
        I've been wanting a Monogram Passport Holder for the longest time. I think its such an important luxury item for any jet setter. ($320 on US website)

       Next is the Monogram Canvas Zippy Wallet in the color Fuschia. Currently, I just have a $12 wallet from Amazon and would love to one day upgrade to this one. ($805 on US website)

        Last but definitely not least, I think a Monogram Shawl from Louis Vuitton is a must have accessory for any Louis Vuitton junkies out there. Here are two of my favorites, the Monogram Shine Shawl in Black (on top, $675), and the Monogram Denim Shawl in black even though it looks gray (on bottom, $590).

WISHLIST WEDNESDAY | SEPHORA

        It's been a while since I shopped at Sephora and I honestly love that store they have so many brands, so many fun items, and let's be honest you can get carried away very easily in that store. There's a few items that I want to re-purchase and a few items I would like to try out for the first time. 

        So the first item is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, this will definitely be a re-purchase. I love this item. This is the best mascara I've ever tried in my life and I've tried so many of them. It gives you volume, length, and makes your lashes look so thick. Next is the Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm, I'm totally into lip balms right now and I love designer items so it would be cool to get a Givenchy lip color and try it out.  The next three items are Dior, one lip scrub and two lipsticks. Their packaging is so beautiful,  I've wanted Dior lipstick since I was a freshman in high school but couldn't afford it so I decided to put it on my wishlist. I've been hearing so much about Guerlain, and I've never tried their products. Their lipstick looks very similar to Dior and the color "My First Lipstick," looks light and classy.  


     

          I have so many perfumes so I've told myself from here on out I will only purchase rollerball or travel size perfume's because there's no way in my lifetime that I'll be able to go through all of them. I love Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue so I put that on the list as well as I really want to try the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb rollerball because I've heard so many good things about it. Again I've added another Dior lip color to the list in a sheer natural pink. I've heard the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is amazing so I found it in the lightest color and added it to my Wishlist. Benefit is known for its bronzers and I need a good bronzer especially since summer is right around the corner.  This bronzer is in the travel size so it's a little smaller in case I don't like it. I love that Sephora has a ton of travel size items, because you can try out the product and not have to spend so much incase you don't like it. The Tarta Rain Forest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist has been talked about all over YouTube and people love it so this is another travel size item that I'm interested in trying.


         

        Everybody loves the smell of fresh laundry so I decided to add the Clean rollerball to my list because I  love scents and sometimes I'll just open a perfume and spray it to enjoy it.  I've tried the Moroccan Oil Treatment before in a small sample size and I really loved it, plus a little bit goes a huge away so I added this travel size one. Another item I would like to re-purchase is the Murad Acne Spot Treatment,  it really works and its the best spot treatment I've ever used. I've been seeing charcoal sheet masks all over Instagram lately so I figured I would like to give this one a try, for eight dollars it's not bad.  Last but not least is the Josie Maran 100% pure Argan Oil, I've heard Jaclyn Hill talk about Josie Maran oils on numerous occasions so I want to give it a try. 

FYI: This is wish list Wednesday, I did not purchase these items, they are just items that I would love to purchase if I had an endless amount of money and won the lottery :)
